Question: Will my original picture be damaged or destroyed in this process?

Answer: Absolutely not. Your original photograph will be returned in the same condition as it was received.

 

Question: Is there an alternative to sending my photograph through the mail? I am afraid it could be lost!

Answer: Yes. Have it scanned to a floppy disc or CD and send to our address.

 

Question: How can I get an accurate estimate on a photograph that needs retouched, restored, and/or colorized?

Answer: If you have access to a scanner, simply scan and save as a jpg file and e-mail it to us. We will respond with an estimate.

 

Question: How long will this process take and when will my order be delivered to me?

Answer: While every effort is made to complete an order on a timely basis, some are more time consuming than others – however most will be completed and returned within six weeks.

 

Question: How do you know what colors to use when colorizing a black and white photograph?

Answer: Excellent question! You, the customer must supply us with as much information as possible as to the colors within the picture. The more detail, the better your photograph will be. If you should overlook a detail, The Photo Magician will select co-ordinating colors at his professional discretion.

 

Question: How can this service be offered at such a low cost?

Answer: We avoid many costs associated with large corporations by being a home based, family operated business. Our advertising methods consist of this web page, and word of mouth. By refraining from expensive advertising and costly corporate offices, we can keep our costs down, passing the savings on to our customers.
